Porto Cervo Racing svela le linee del 13° Rally Terra Sarda:
l’Ogliastra chiamata alla ribalta sul palcoscenico motoristico internazionale
L’appuntamento, in programma sabato 18 e domenica 19 ottobre, sarà valido per il TER Series, per il TER – Tour European Rally, per il TER – Historic e per la Coppa Rally di Zona 10, come manche conclusiva.

Giovedì 18 settembre, apertura delle iscrizioni al doppio confronto moderno e storico
Tortolì (NU) – Saranno affidate a sette prove speciali, le ambizioni dei protagonisti del Rally Terra Sarda, appuntamento organizzato da Porto Cervo Racing ed in programma sabato 18 e domenica 19 ottobre sulle strade della provincia dell’Ogliastra. La gara, valida per il TER Series, per il TER – Tour European Rally, per il TER – Historic e come ultimo atto della Coppa Rally di Zona 10, farà leva su contenuti nuovi ma – allo stesso tempo – in linea con la tradizione espressa in passato dalla manifestazione. Un ritorno al passato per il Rally Terra Sarda, con il coinvolgimento di un territorio chiamato ad elevarsi nel palcoscenico motoristico internazionale dopo essere stato interessato dall’evento nei primi anni di programmazione.
IL PROGRAMMA
Sette, le prove speciali in programma
Giovedì 18 settembre sarà la prima giornata utile per poter formalizzare l’adesione alla gara, con l’apertura delle iscrizioni. La fase resterà aperta fino a venerdì 10 ottobre per quanto riguarda il confronto moderno e fino al termine ultimo di lunedì 13 ottobre per quello riservato alle vetture storiche. I riflettori del motorsport internazionale punteranno su Tortolì da giovedì 16 ottobre, con l’apertura del Villaggio Mirtó Sardegna. Via Monsignor Virgilio ospiterà la struttura accogliendo equipaggi partecipanti ed appassionati nel corso delle attività proposte, iniziative che faranno ancora leva su tradizione culturale, enogastronomica e sulla solidarietà. Confermati i punti cardine che hanno reso celebre il Rally Terra Sarda nelle sue dodici precedenti edizioni, come lo spettacolare Cooking Show, quest’anno arricchito dalle attività offerte dagli artigiani sardi che – nella giornata di venerdì – chiamerà a raccolta i portacolori delle nazioni coinvolte dal TER Series, pronte a sfidarsi in cucina attraverso i propri rappresentanti. Tortolì ed il Villaggio Rally Mirtó Sardegna faranno da cornice anche alla presentazione degli equipaggi partecipanti al 13° Rally Terra Sarda ed al 5° Rally Terra Sarda Storico, prevista alle ore 18 in Viale Monsignor Virgilio, location che accoglierà anche i paddock del parco assistenza. L’indomani, sabato 18 ottobre, gli equipaggi saranno coinvolti dalle ultime ore disponibili di verifica sportiva e tecnica e dall’effettuazione dello shakedown, il test con vetture da gara, in programma dalle ore 8:00 alle ore 11:30 sul tratto “Bari Sardo – Teccu”.
La bandiera tricolore – emblema della partenza della gara – sventolerà sulla prima vettura alle ore 14:00, in Via Monsignor Virgilio. Da lì i protagonisti si dirigeranno verso la prima prova speciale, “I Centenari – Ottica Filar” di 11,13 km, in programma dalle ore 14:39. Dopo aver salutato Baunei, teatro di un controllo a timbro, le vetture saranno chiamate al secondo impegno con il cronometro, sui 5,13 km della “Selvaggio Blu – Grimaldi Lines”, prevista per le ore 15:35. Girasole e la sua Via Venezia accoglieranno le vetture per il primo riordinamento della manifestazione, che si protrarrà per venti minuti a partire dalle ore 15:54. Alle ore 16:25 la prima vettura dell’elenco partenti farà ritorno a Tortolì, per il primo parco assistenza. Le squadre avranno a disposizione trenta minuti per poter esprimere le strategie di gara dal punto di vista tecnico, assecondando le richieste degli equipaggi in vista della prova che manderà in archivio il primo giorno di gara, la PS “I Centenari – Ottica Filar” delle ore 17:37. Prima di calcare la pedana di arrivo della prima tappa (a Tortolì, dalle ore 18:45), le vetture faranno tappa ad Urzulei, in Piazza Fontana (ore 18:11), procedendo successivamente verso Viale Monsignor Virgilio, a Tortolì, con Piazza Rinascita pronta ad ospitare le vetture moderne e storiche nella fase di riordinamento notturno.
Domenica 19 ottobre, alle ore 9:03, gli interpreti del doppio confronto avranno a disposizione trenta minuti di parco assistenza, fase che anticiperà gli ultimi tratti cronometrati in programma, la “Uliveti d’Ogliastra – Gimar” di 12,92 km e “I Ciliegi – Ulestri” di 9,82 km, entrambi da ripetere per due volte. Tra i quattro passaggi – dopo la PS “I Ciliegi – Ulestri” delle ore 10:42 – è prevista una fase di riordinamento a Tortolì della durata di venti minuti ed un’ultima sessione di parco assistenza, alle 11:58. La gara andrà quindi in archivio con l’effettuazione della “Ilbono-Elini-Arzana” alle ore 12:53 e della la PS “I Ciliegi – Ulestri”, con lo start previsto alle ore 13:37. Il controllo a timbro in programma a Barisardo anticiperà la cerimonia d’arrivo, in Viale Monsignor Virgilio a Tortolì, alle ore 14:30.

Porto Cervo Racing Unveils the 13th Rally Terra Sarda: Ogliastra Takes Center Stage on the International Motorsport Scene
The event, scheduled for Saturday, October 18, and Sunday, October 19, will be valid for the TER Series, the TER – Tour European Rally, the TER – Historic, and as the final round of the Zona 10 Rally Cup. Seven special stages are on the program, with the start and finish hosted in Tortolì. Entries for both the modern and historic competitions open on Thursday, September 18.
Tortolì, Sardinia- Italy – The ambitions of the Rally Terra Sarda competitors will rest on seven special stages. Organized by Porto Cervo Racing, the event is set to take place on Saturday, October 18, and Sunday, October 19, on the roads of the Ogliastra province. The race, valid for the TER Series, the TER – Tour European Rally, the TER – Historic, and as the final round of the Zona 10 Rally Cup, will feature new elements while staying true to the event’s past traditions. It marks a return to the roots for the Rally Terra Sarda, involving a territory that will be elevated onto the international motorsport stage, having previously hosted the event in its early years.
Seven special stages are planned.
Thursday, September 18, marks the first day to formalize entry into the race with the opening of registrations. This phase will remain open until Friday, October 10, for the modern competition and until the final deadline of Monday, October 13, for the historic vehicle class.
The spotlight of international motorsport will be on Tortolì starting Thursday, October 16, with the opening of the Villaggio Mirtó Sardegna. Located on Via Monsignor Virgilio, this hub will welcome participating crews and fans with a series of activities rooted in cultural traditions, food and wine, and community support. The key features that have made the Rally Terra Sarda famous over its twelve previous editions are confirmed, including the spectacular Cooking Show. This year, it will be enhanced by activities from Sardinian artisans and will bring together representatives from the nations involved in the TER Series to compete in the kitchen on Friday.
Tortolì and the Villaggio Rally Mirtó Sardegna will also host the presentation of the crews competing in the 13th Rally Terra Sarda and the 5th Historic Rally Terra Sarda, scheduled for 6:00 PM on Viale Monsignor Virgilio. This location will also serve as the service park paddock.
The following day, Saturday, October 18, crews will be involved in the final hours of sport and technical checks and the shakedown—a test with rally cars—scheduled from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM on the “Bari Sardo – Teccu” section.
The Italian flag, symbolizing the start of the race, will wave over the first car at 2:00 PM on Via Monsignor Virgilio. From there, competitors will head to the first special stage, the 11.13 km “I Centenari – Ottica Filar” scheduled to start at 2:39 PM. After passing through Baunei for a time control, the cars will take on the second stage, the 5.13 km “Selvaggio Blu – Grimaldi Lines” set for 3:35 PM. Girasole and its Via Venezia will welcome the cars for the first twenty-minute regroup of the event, starting at 3:54 PM.
At 4:25 PM, the first car will return to Tortolì for the first service park. Teams will have thirty minutes to implement their technical strategies and attend to the crews’ needs before the final stage of the day, the “I Centenari – Ottica Filar” at 5:37 PM. Before reaching the podium for the first leg’s finish (in Tortolì, at 6:45 PM), the cars will stop in Urzulei, at Piazza Fontana (6:11 PM), and then proceed to Viale Monsignor Virgilio in Tortolì. Piazza Rinascita will be ready to host both modern and historic cars for the overnight regroup.
On Sunday, October 19, at 9:03 AM, competitors will have a thirty-minute service park session. This precedes the final timed sections: the 12.92 km “Uliveti d’Ogliastra – Gimar” and the 9.82 km “I Ciliegi – Ulestri” both to be run twice. After this stage at 10:42 AM, a twenty-minute regroup in Tortolì and a final service session at 11:58 AM are scheduled between the two runs. The race will then conclude with the running of the “Uliveti d’Ogliastra – Gimar” at 12:53 PM and the”I Ciliegi – Ulestri” at 1:37 PM. A time control in Barisardo will precede the finish ceremony on Viale Monsignor Virgilio in Tortolì at 2:30 PM.
