Campionato del Mondo Rally, Michele Liceri e Salvatore Mendola (Peugeot 208 R2) sono saliti sulla pedana d&#8217;arrivo a Olbia e hanno chiuso al terzo posto di classe, secondi tra gli equipaggi sardi. Gara sfortunata per il pilota Francesco Tali (navigato da Caldart) e per il co-pilota Fabio Salis in coppia con Gallu. Presente anche in questa edizione del Rally Italia Sardegna, sulla vettura S1, il pilota della Porto Cervo Racing Vittorio Musselli con Tiziano Siviero.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La scuderia Porto Cervo Racing non poteva mancare al Rally Italia Sardegna valido come quinto round del Campionato del Mondo Rally.\u00a0 Presenti all&#8217;evento iridato quattro portacolori del Team: il pilota Francesco Tali, l&#8217;equipaggio Liceri-Mendola e il co-pilota Fabio Salis.<\/p>\n<p>Nonostante i numerosi problemi riscontrati durante tutta la gara, <strong>Michele Liceri<\/strong> e <strong>Salvatore Mendola<\/strong> (Peugeot 208 R2) hanno raggiunto l&#8217;obiettivo finale: terminare l&#8217;impegnativa gara valida come prova del Wrc. Al Rally Italia Sardegna 2021, l&#8217;equipaggio ha terminato al terzo posto di classe, al secondo fra gli equipaggi sardi e al 34\u00b0 nella classifica assoluta.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa nostra gara \u00e8 stata contraddistinta da problemi\u201d, ha detto il pilota <strong>Michele Liceri<\/strong>, \u201cpurtroppo si verificavano sempre nelle prime prove subito dopo l&#8217;assistenza. \u00c8 stata una gara in salita dall&#8217;inizio alla fine, l&#8217;unico obiettivo che ci siamo posti era terminare la gara, quindi siamo stati molto attenti.<\/p>\n<p>Possiamo ritenerci soddisfatti perch\u00e9 portare a casa un mondiale \u00e8 sempre un piacere e, con tutti i problemi che si sono verificati, non abbiamo mai mollato. Volevamo assolutamente portare la macchina sulla pedana d&#8217;arrivo per ringraziare gli sponsor, la Scuderia e tutte le persone che ci hanno sostenuto. Ringrazio innanzitutto Tore Mendola, sempre impeccabile, la Scuderia, gli sponsor e soprattutto il Team Emmepi\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cQuesta volta inizio dalla fine\u201d, ha commentato il co-pilota <strong>Salvatore Mendola<\/strong>, \u201cla pedana di arrivo ripaga tutti i sacrifici fatti prima e durante la gara. Ringraziamo tutti gli sponsor che ci hanno permesso di partecipare e la nostra scuderia Porto Cervo Racing. La gara, come da premessa, \u00e8 stata durissima sia fisicamente che per la nostra 208. Purtroppo abbiamo avuto grossi problemi sulla macchina fin dalla prima prova senza poter esprimere tutto il nostro potenziale. Per questo ringraziamo Tiziano Columbano \u201cil nostro meccanico\u201d, Masina Palitta con Paolo e tutto il Team Emmepi per averci supportato, coccolato e spronato in tutto e per tutto, senza di loro ci saremmo dovuti ritirare, grazie di cuore. Alla fine un terzo posto di classe RC4 e secondi come equipaggio sardo. Grazie a Michele che si fida sempre di pi\u00f9, grazie a chi ci ha sostenuto da casa o in prova speciale. Alla prossima, magari con un pizzico di fortuna in pi\u00f9\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Gara sfortunata per il pilota della Porto Cervo Racing <strong>Francesco Tali<\/strong> (Ford Fiesta MKII) navigato da Cristina Caldart, costretto al ritiro alla terzultima prova speciale, quando occupava la 27esima posizione assoluta e il primo posto tra i piloti sardi.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u00c8 stata una bellissima gara\u201d, ha detto Francesco Tali, \u201csiamo andati sino in fondo, poi purtroppo al primo passaggio dell&#8217;ultima prova speciale si \u00e8 rotta la turbina, ci siamo fermati, c&#8217;\u00e8 stato un principio di incendio, ma siamo riusciti a domarlo subito. Mancavano da ripetere le ultime due prove speciali. Non abbiamo rischiato troppo perch\u00e9 volevamo arrivare sino in fondo. La gara \u00e8 stata molto dura, c&#8217;erano diverse prove speciali veramente difficili, ad esempio la prova di Tempio era stretta e tortuosa, anche la prova successiva era rovinata dopo il passaggio delle Wrc. Abbiamo fatto bene tutte le prove senza fare danno, \u00e8 stata una bella gara, purtroppo ci siamo fermati proprio alla fine\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Costretto al ritiro anche il co-pilota <strong>Fabio Salis<\/strong> che ha letto le note al pilota Andrea Gallu (Peugeot 208 Rally 4). \u201cSiamo stati veramente sfortunati\u201d, ha raccontato Fabio Salis, \u201cci siamo dovuti fermare per evitare di fare un danno pi\u00f9 ingente. A causa di una piccola uscita, che non ha fatto nessun danno alla macchina dal punto di vista della carrozzeria &#8211; ci siamo appoggiati su un terrapieno &#8211; si \u00e8 piegata una parte del radiatore e questo ha fatto perdere un po&#8217; d&#8217;olio. La sfortuna \u00e8 stata che quando stavamo percorrendo la prova, si \u00e8 accesa la spia in un punto molto stretto, quindi abbiamo proseguito e ci siamo fermati pi\u00f9 avanti. La sera i meccanici sono riusciti a far ripartire il motore, ma ormai era compromesso e, per non fare ulteriori danni, ci siamo dovuti fermare per non rovinarlo del tutto. Siamo stati veramente sfortunati perch\u00e9 stavamo andando molto bene, eravamo primi fra le due ruote motrici, avevamo un buon passo e avevamo lavorato bene su tanti aspetti. Sino a quando \u00e8 durata, \u00e8 un bel ricordo, siamo molto contenti, i tempi ci stavano dando ragione. La prossima gara con Andrea sar\u00e0 il Rally del Vermentino e, da oggi sino a settembre ci potrebbe essere qualche gara con altri piloti. In occasione del Rally Italia Sardegna, abbiamo voluto ricordare Nicola Imperio. Se il Wrc \u00e8 una delle gare pi\u00f9 belle del Campionato del Mondo \u00e8 merito di Nicola, che ha scoperto questi fantastici percorsi. Ricordarlo \u00e8 stato naturale, la sua presenza si sentiva come sempre, in campo gara lo vedevi poco, ma lui ti seguiva e aveva sempre qualche buon consiglio da dare\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Anche in questa edizione del RIS, <strong>Vittorio Musselli<\/strong>, pilota che fa parte del direttivo del Team, era a bordo della vettura S1 con Tiziano Siviero. \u201cOrmai il nostro \u00e8 un equipaggio consolidato\u201d, ha commentato Vittorio Musselli, \u201cvisto che da anni sono al fianco di Siviero. Per me \u00e8 sempre un onore, Tiziano, oltre ad essere una persona splendida, ha un&#8217;esperienza incredibile, un professionista, una persona che da molto a questa manifestazione. Il RIS \u00e8 una manifestazione importante sotto tutti gli aspetti, spero che sia stato un successo per gli operatori turistici e per tutto quello che il Rally porta al di fuori della manifestazione sportiva, al di fuori del cronometro, al di fuori delle macchine da rally perch\u00e9 ne abbiamo bisogno, soprattutto in questo periodo. Ormai sono diciotto anni che faccio parte di questo meraviglioso gruppo, \u00e8 una manifestazione che sento anche un po&#8217; mia e, quando il lavoro \u00e8 ben riuscito, mi fa piacere, perch\u00e9 per quanto mi riguarda, noi abbiamo fatto un bellissimo lavoro, siamo un bel gruppo e speriamo che nel 2022 il Wrc sia ancora in Sardegna. Quest&#8217;anno correr\u00f2 il Rally del Parco Geominerario con il co-pilota Claudio Mele alle note, il Rally del Vermentino, il \u201cnostro\u201d Rally Terra Sarda e inoltre, spero di completare
